My girl Bennet and I
Graphic design has been my calling since I took my first elective in it as a freshman at the University of the Arts. Although I went to college focused on majoring in illustration, I found myself saying “I think” I could be successful in graphic design. That “I think” was too compelling to resist and led me to the best decision of my life.
Through positions in healthcare and higher education marketing, freelance projects, and involvement with community organizations and events I have developed outstanding design, layout, typography, production, and brand management skills. My experience has also grown my abilities in effective communication, copywriting and editing, photography, and project management.
Having grown up in Michigan and Connecticut, gone to college in Philadelphia, and lived and worked in Atlanta and coastal North Carolina, I recently moved to Florida's Nature Coast to be near family – for the first time in almost 35 years – and explore new opportunities. I am currently seeking a position where I can again be my team’s go-to for fresh ideas, creative solutions, great design, a compassionate ear, and the injection of humor needed for professional success and personal connection.
