Photography

I never wanted to be the one taking the photos; I was happy being the art director. But then I had an employee who was an amazing photographer. She shared with me her knowledge and techniques, inspired me, and then left me – thanks a lot, Liz! But I learned to fly solo and soon realized the opportunity to create my own photographic imagery was not to be missed.

In time I have fallen in love with the much-maligned headshot. I love being able to capture that something that makes each person so individually beautiful – whether it is really expressive eyes, laugh lines around an irrepressible smile, or the faintest hint of dimples they just don’t want to show. Bringing out that beauty and helping them see it too is hugely rewarding.
